Shannon Friesen has been the Chief Executive Officer at Saskatoon Construction Association for the past four years. Saskatoon born and raised, Friesen attended Confederation Park Elementary, Mount Royal Collegiate and Saskatchewan Polytechnic (formerly known as SIAST) for the Rehabilitation Worker program. Friesen held senior leadership positions, primarily in the charitable sector, for Autism Services and YWCA Saskatoon prior to joining the Saskatoon Construction Association.
The Saskatoon Construction Association is a non-profit organization with a mandate to provide tendering, education and networking opportunities to over 575 members active in the commercial construction industry in our province. The association has proudly served the commercial, industrial and institutional construction industry in Saskatchewan since 1931.
Saskatchewan Polytechnic serves students through applied learning opportunities on Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 Territories and the homeland of the Métis.
