Paul Martin, TEC Canada CEO and small business chair for Regina and Saskatoon, has tirelessly promoted Saskatchewan’s business community to advance the province as a key source of some of the world’s most sought-after resources. TEC Canada’s members, all successful business leaders, are an integral part of the TEC community whose cumulative corporate wealth represents more than $50 billion in assets and who employ more than 100,000 Canadians.
In his roles at TEC, Martin brings commitment and dedication to advancing the goals of members and their companies. He believes the success of regional business depends on recognizing areas with potential for growth and takes their companies beyond what they initially thought possible. As principal of a successful marketing and public relations consultancy, he infuses his groups with his own hard-won experience and expertise as an entrepreneur.
He has a long and distinguished career as a business journalist and media expert. Martin is a daily business commentator for Rawlco Radio heard on 15 radio stations in the province, including NewsTalk. He also serves as the board chair for the Des Nedhe, the commercial arm of the English River First Nation, as well as a former board chair of the Regina Regional Economic Development Authority. He is also the recipient of the 2021 SEDA Award of Excellence for Lifetime Achievement.
